The greens team will be hollow tining the greens next week on Tuesday 17th April with work starting at 09.00 a.m. Hollow-tining is the process of removing cores and is an excellent way to aerate and remove compaction from the greens and is an essential part of greens maintenance. We would welcome as many volunteers as possible to assist with the work, even if you are only able to spare a couple of hours. For those who can attend, there is a sheet in the clubhouse to put your name down but if you aren’t able to get to the club to do this, feel free to turn up anyway. It would be helpful if you could bring a snow shovel if possible. Your support will be much appreciated and refreshments will be provided!!
Below are some pictures from last year’s activity….let’s hope for some similar weather!!
